Hello and welcome. First, a little about who we are...We are a small family owned and operated ranch located in the beautiful mountains of Lassen County. Danielle (mom/me) is the owner and breeding coordinator for the ranch. Two of my four children, Brianna and Christopher live and work here with me on the ranch. Without them, I wouldn't be able to follow my lifelong dream of owning, breeding and raising the most beautiful of God's creatures, the horses. My other kids, Jenica and her husband Matt, and Daniel are so supportive in everything we do. Daniel and Matt are the greatest blessings to our ranch. They both work their hineys off every time they come to visit. Building foaling stalls, moving round pens, putting in new fencing, cutting wood, all of it wouldn't get done without Daniel's help and Matt's motivation and encouragement.
Our Mission Statement has been revised. We have recently gone through a difficult but well thought out transition. We are now breeding solely for Foundation-bred performance Quarter Horses. Although it's never a bad thing to get a well-bred horse with a unique color, we will be just as happy with an athletic, well-built, Chestnut baby as we would a Grullo. Thank you to the people who were instrumental in getting our heads screwed on right. (You know who you are.)
We are so blessed to be located in beautiful Lassen County, just about an hour north of Reno, NV on Hwy. 395. The view from the ranch is exhilarating as we can see both Thompson Peak and Honey Lake. We are lucky enough to be nestled amidst Lodgepole Pines, Oaks and Cedars, and visited by such wildlife as skunks, mountain lions, bears and foxes.
